Nupur Daithankar Plays ‘Heera’ in Zee Marathi’s ‘Baaji’!

Zee Marathi’s upcoming new serial ‘Baji’ based in the Peshwa Rule is all set to begin it’s telecast from 30th July. Zee Marathi is again presenting a 100 episode story with ‘Baji’. In the later part of Peshwa Rule the Britishers collaborated with the Nizam to defeat Peshwas. Using the reference of those incidents a fictional story has been created in ‘Baji’.

 

In this story a spy named ‘Shera’ was sent to the Peshwas & he was given 100 days to finish off the Peshwas! This is the storyline of ‘Baji’. This serial has an inspiration from the style of G. N. Dandekar’s novels. The serial stars Abhijeet Shwetachandra & Nupur Daithankar in the lead.

Nupur is a passionate artist & dancer & has trained in the same from her childhood. She plays the character of ‘Heera’ in Zee Marathi’s ‘Baji’. This serial is shot in places like Pune, Bhor, Satara & Saswad. The story is based in 1770 & includes many historical incidents in the narrative of the story. The role of Shera is played by Prakhar Singh while the title character is played by Abhijeet Shwetachandra.

Nupur says, “This is a fictional story. The love story between Baji & Heera is shown in this serial. Every character in this story has different layers to them.
